I downloaded a few of these and extracted/zipped/[w/e they are under C-PF-GW...] I can't get the effects to work..
Hopefully it wasn't just error in my reading... but don't we need a script of some sort to make these mods work? anyone wanna give me a link to that? Downloaded black bambi, xbox mod, and gold cape trim.. if for some reason there are specific scripts.. please break it down into a 'instructions for dummies' type of thing, b/c I am not to computer savvy when it comes to mods, paths, and scripts. Oh also just out of curiosity could somebody test em on viruses and put up a list about it? I feel tempted to download a couple of them but I am afraid of the keyloggers
 so if annybody feels up for the task they have my blessing.Otherwise nice list

I'm not taking credit for these of course, these all come from the official wiki. I just figured, since some discussion is happening here on them in our Riverside Inn I would put up the list they have. I need to test links, redo some links etc.

This may seem a silly point, but I hope that everyone is aware that these mods in conjunction with TexMod only affect what you see. In other words, if you download and install the gold cape trim, the Batman shield and the Pre-in-Post Ascalon mods (for example), the changes will only be seen on your monitor - these are not things you can show off to other people in town!
Or, er, I'm a total numpty...

Mods won't work with me. I'm using Texmod and I have DirectX9. Downloaded the Dark Glass 4.5, it didn't work. Tried a few other mods just in case but they just won't work :/

Just a quick note to everyone, because I originally thought it was a game bug... If you use the clearskills mod there are no arrows to show what is a hex or an enchantment. They all show up as just straight skills.

As creator of the cartography mod, I can say with 99.99% certainty you will not get banned. I've had the mod running each time I start Guild Wars since it was first developed, and not even a hint of trouble from Anet.
